MAWWIAGE…

I’m just having a break after starting to organise over 2,600 photos I took on Monday for a wedding assessment, and I gotta say that nope, never again, not in a million years, not until the earth plummets into the sun that I’ll ever do a wedding job ever again unless someone pays me enough money to get a cybernetic endoskeleton and all the involved surgery costs… in other words, not my thing.

Yes that’s more than I’ve taken than throughout most of the year.

To clarify it wasn’t a real wedding with the real stakes that would be involved with such things, but rather a mock wedding (or technically several so different people could shoot it) over a full day at Caversham House which I must admit is a gorgeous location with lots of really nice places; I mean this is a well regarded wedding venue so yeah it doesn’t surprise. That being said the creepy statue and the hermit/murder hole were my favourite parts, and actually make me want to do some sort of other shoot there; admittedly there is are a couple of nice places for a Alice in Wonderland shoot, but not necessarily like my previous work.

Love that Joker

What can I honestly say, yeah it was a good day but it really just wasn’t my thing. I want to say on reflection I got something out of it, but realistically I can’t say that I did beyond maybe a couple of photos I’m proud of. Maybe when I’ve finished organising and processing all these images and got what I needed to get done I’ll post some of the good ones… maybe.

I would have spelt it differently.
